Visiting Philippines? Try this dessert

  My #1 Philippine dessert is not traditionally filipino. The day I arrived was grey and wet, yet humid. The traffic was a cluttered mess going from the airport. But the start of an authentic Asian experience. It was in September. I am however not reminiscing about my stay, but the smell of caramalized sugar when I entered the kitchen that following morning. The Philippines have its traditional dessert like Halo-Halo and Buku salad that is both delectable, must try frozen desserts. But it is neither of the two that made an impression on me during my visit to the Philippines. I originally began writing this post to share a great delicacy of my first visit to the Philippines.  Being passed off as a filipino dessert, I soon realised that this is not a filipino dessert but, the filipino version rather. A diet that actually works

D2 Diet

There is so many diets, and the D² Diet is also just another diet. This diet requires discipline and determination. This diet is different from others because it is affordable, easy and saves you a lot of time. Apart from that and losing weight it also helped me to focus better and get ahead. The D² diet is not for gym junkies or miss universe’s. And I am not a personal trainer trying to sell my services. The D² diet is for you and me ( regular individuals, not models of Instagram ) who wants to see results fast by following an easy and affordable diet.

I want to start by sharing that I am not particularly fond of exercising, so actually taking action takes a great deal of effort. However the last three years, with the right kind of motivation I have managed to exercise more regularly.

I also never had the need to diet, as growing up I was the scrawny little boy. I grew up always wanting to gain weight, but as I grew older and the body went through changes, I could more clearly see what I was putting into my body. Still it was never really a problem for me as I was someone always on the move, travelling and my habit was to eat when my stomach required me too, which had me maintaining my weight, but surely this method wasn’t safe, as going without breakfast and lunch was substituted with energy drinks.

Then I got married. My partner had complete different habits and rituals than mine, that could easily be adopted as it contained some great cooking of dishes I never tasted before, and snacks. Daily. I never thought of how necessary it would be to have dessert after every meal, snacks in between and snacks while watching movies. Not to mention that I went from about one small serving of rice once per week ( finding it utterly boring) to 1¹/² cup of rice per meal per person per day ( Now finding it necessity ). It wasn’t long before I could see myself grow up into my “dad bod"

Then 2020 we decided to change our mindset and be strong and worked out this diet that required very little exercising to show results fast.

If you are disciplined and determined then the D² Diet is for you. This one is best for singletons and couples I suggest, because you will easily be seduced by whatever else is eaten, and one slight cheat could break your motivation.
